Sabrine Maui was born in Maila, the Philippines. Sabrine was delivered by her mother's father, with the assistance of two aunts; most of her mother's family are doctors and nurses. In one of her video, she considered herself as Vietnamese, while in most of her films, she exposed herself as Filipino. She was a tomboy while growing up in the Pnilippines, participating in lots of sports including track, tennis, volleyball and basketball. She moved with her family to Hawaii at the age of 15, where she graduated from high school by the time she was 17 years old.
